Getting started

Getting started!

It has been very challenging year 2020, leaving a lot of people with different feelings. Some are left with no source of lively hood, some have their salary slashed. Prices of goods and commodities keep increasing without matching income. Things have really changed, from the way we use to live to what is now called the new normal where things are done differently. Children are now home schooling which post as a great challenge to parents who are now under pressure in the aspect of coping with the present situation. Many businesses are now operating on the internet; many people now work from home. The big question that comes to mind for some people is, with all the covid-19 restriction everywhere; how can someone get started as we are now in 2021 a new year. The way forward is to have a positive mind set, yes there’s no question about the challenges, the new normal with the covid-19. Life must go on and we as individual need to be in the right mental, physical state in order to achieve our dreams. The situation of our mental health is very important therefore we must be mindful of our thoughts because the food for our mind is our thoughts, at this period our thoughts just have to be right.

Moreover, we must put into consideration the type of people we allow into our space, there’s no room for negativity, dream killers, people that complain about everything, people who take and take without bringing anything to the table. This is the time to look at what is available and make good use of it. This is the time for realistic New Year resolution, achievable, with duration of execution bearing in mind the situation of things. You can actual start that vision you have been procrastinating or pushing aside for years by taking one step at a time, remember the journey of a thousand miles start with one step. Deal with your fears by seeing advantages not disadvantages. Someone asked, how he can know what tomorrow will bring with all the happenings, my reply is live every day as it comes trusting in God to be God. Surrender all to Almighty God the creator of heaven and earth. The one who is in total control, you and I can plan only God can make our vision, our plans, and our dreams come through, so learn not to give up hope. Hope for a better tomorrow is what keeps our spirit going.

Make out time to relax, away from your location say for a couple of days with the right set of friends, family members or just you is very necessary. I went on a vacation for a few weeks to breath in fresh air, away from all the challenges and just relax with family. It was really refreshing, I will not trade the quality times we had for anything. I feel energize ready to start working again, I advice you try it. You don’t have to break the bank, keep it simple.

My final take is exercise; this is the time to start exercising, do what you enjoy be consistence and eat right. More so, self improvement must not be neglected. Hold nothing back if you are going through emotional challenge or you feel overwhelmed please doesn’t struggle alone reach out to me for counseling. Help is available together we can go through it. A problem shared is a problem half solved. Take care of yourself and each other.
