On this edition we are going to focus on ways to help those who are about getting married to start a healthy eating habit before the big day which will be of great help to them not just for the wedding but for the rest of their life because eating healthy is a life style. detox for example is an excellent way to kick-start a healthy program, since detoxification clear’s and filters toxin waste, which allows the body to enhance its basic functions in order to work more efficiently. Therefore achieving a beautiful body depends on adopting a balance and healthy life style; eating regularly, well- balance meals with all the necessary nutrients required, drinking  of plenty water and exercising at least 4 times a week before and after the big day. Steps to a healthy diet for brides, meals must be schedule in order to prevent fatigue and to perform at an optimal level, eating a healthy breakfast include grains and fruits, a high –fibre cereal with low fat milk, others are a slice of wheat bread with one boiled egg, oat meal, yoghurt and so on. Skipping breakfast must be avoided because it gives room to hunger at mid morning, which can lead to unhealthy snacking.  Food for energy which is also highly required at this time of preparation should include tubers for example yam which lowers triglyceride levels and help prevent arteriosclerosis. Tubers are also alkaline forming foods. Irish potatoes also contains carbohydrates, protein and vitamin C, it’s also a complete and balanced food which neutralizes excess stomach acid. In addition high quality protein such as fish, shell fish, poultry, and legumes should be eating frequently because of its health benefit such as abundant protein and fibre, vitamin B1, B2, B6, niacin, and folates which are very important to the proper functioning of the nervous system and the skin. Brides are encouraged to eat healthy fats for example nuts, seeds, and olive oil. Antioxidant rich drinks like green tea are not left out in the process of looking the best on your wedding day. The earlier you start to take good care of what you eat before your big date the better, more so try to avoid sugary food, anything processed, pastries, and so on, it affect the skin- makes skin look dull, remember you are what you eat so as you go about planning for the big day don’t forget to eat healthy.
